This financial literacy program has been designed to introduce middle and high school students to the principles of personal financial management.
Learning Objectives:

Gain familiarity with basic financial concepts and terms

Learn about resources to aid in future financial decision making
-
Enable students to build a foundation for future responsible financial management
Topics:

Banking: the ins and outs of checking and savings accounts; ATM and debit cards; mobile apps

Saving: learning about interest
-
Basic money management; goal setting
-
Understanding credit and debt, and how they impact each other
-
Developing a budget or spending plan and why you should have one

Investing basics
-
Managing financial risks; learning about insurance
Classes will run approx. 60 – 90 minutes starting at 6.00 p.m. The cost for the week would be $175.
